To make the pony move children sit in the saddle and place their feet in the footrests then they move up and down with a bouncing action causing the pony’s legs to splay out and then come together. This action causes the pony to roll forward and when the rider continuously keeps this movement going it makes the pony carry on rolling forward.
Little Tikes Giddyup N’ Go Pony
The Little Tikes Giddyup N’ Go pony has a permanent saddle and handlebars located on the pony’s head for easy steering. Children will be able to steer the pony using the handlebars and there is a brake lever on the right handlebar.
Its four hooves are fitted with hidden wheels and the brake lever can be adjusted to either tighten or loosen the wheels. The metal stirrups have rubber grips just like the grip handles have for extra security.
This ride-on pony is a toddler’s perfect first horseback ride and offers plenty of fun physical challenges too. Getting the moving action just right, maintaining balance and steering all at the same time will help children develop coordination, balance and strength while having fun all at the same time.
